Corporate Bio

Broken Arrow Electric Supply was founded by Dave Whitney and Bob Garner in 1977 to meet the needs of small electrical contractors. The customer driven focus of the company soon led to an expansion of the company’s customer base, and BAES began to serve a more broad spectrum of customers.

BAES’s industrial/OEM presence was greatly expanded when the company acquired the John H. Cole Company in 1984. Bruce Garner purchased the company in 2007. The company acquired White Electric Supply of McAlester, OK in 2008. The Muskogee, OK branch was added in 2009. The Ada, OK branch was opened in 2011. The Cushing, OK branch was opened in 2012.  The Durant branch was opened in 2013.  The Oklahoma City branch was opened in 2015.

The Broken Arrow, OK location serves as the headquarters for the company, and also is the distribution center of the company. BAES is well positioned geographically to serve the needs of customers in Eastern Oklahoma.
